We’re thrilled to have bought home two awards from the inaugural Business Exchange Awards; celebrating the best and brightest businesses across the South West. Huge congratulations to Gooding Accounts apprentice Lara, who claimed the award in the highly competitive – Rising Star category, and Partner, Sam Gooding, who scooped Leader of the Year Award. The team joined Lara and Sam to celebrate their success at the awards evening which included inspirational speakers and entertainment alongside the awards presentations.
The Rising Star Award recognises emerging talent, for under 25’s demonstrating a clear passion and dedication to their sector. The judges were impressed by Lara’s willingness to take on a challenge, consistently going the extra mile to support the Gooding Accounts team and demonstrating the firms’ Values as she proudly represents the business both with clients and in the community.
Commenting on her win Lara thanked Sam and the team for their continuing support since joining the firm;

This prestigious award celebrates those who have showcased exemplary leadership during the past year. The judges were impressed by his drive to raise £50,000 for local charities in celebration of the firms’ 10th anniversary. 10 years on from founding the firm they recognised that Sam’s dedication to clients and his outstanding team has played a huge part in his success.
Receiving the award for Leader of the Year (complete with a stand-out silver suit) Sam thanked the team for their ongoing support and congratulated Lara as representing the future of the business;
