Readers of The Business Exchange were called on to vote, creating a final list of just 20 women across the whole of Wiltshire. We’re delighted for Sherelyn to celebrate being part of a group of such fantastic women.
Graduating from Wiltshire College and University Centre in 2013, Sherelyn has risen rapidly since beginning her accountancy career as a self-employed practitioner. Joining Gooding Accounts in 2020 she initially led the firm’s Bookkeeping team before being promoted to CFO in early 2023.
Sherelyn is currently at the forefront of our 10 year anniversary Charity Fundraising Challenge which aims to raise £50,000 for local good causes by the end of 2024. Alongside a 6 months sober challenge Sherelyn is training for an eye-watering 5 ultra-marathons she’ll be running this summer to raise funds for Julia’s House.
Sherelyn will be joining a panel of industry experts speaking during this year’s Digital Accountancy Show at Evolution London this April.
Gooding Accounts is proud to support a strong team of women. Unusually for an accountancy firm the team is made up of more than 80% women (many working flexibly around their family life). Since 2023 the firm has been signed up to the Women in Finance Charter, a pledge to ensure gender balance across financial services.
Our friendly and helpful approach to accountancy, ensures that you understand and are in tune with your finances. Our committed team will communicate with you every step of the way so that you understand the position of your financial affairs – get in touch today.
