We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for the Employer of the Year category in the South West Business & Community Awards. The competition was strong with 86 entries in the category. We have our fingers crossed as await the announcement of the winners on Friday 2nd February.

Unusually for an accountancy firm Gooding Accounts team is more than 80% women, and in 2023 we signed up to the Women in Finance Charter, a pledge to ensure gender balance across financial services.
The senior management team recognise the importance of flexible working in empowering individuals to excel in their working life, and over 44% of our team work part-time with hours to suit their circumstances.
Gooding Accounts have helped more than 1/3 of our team members to obtain an accountancy or business qualification and we continue to invest in the team’s future with continual professional development supported in all areas.
Alongside professional development, our approachable senior team have worked hard to establish a relaxed and friendly working environment. The whole team regularly enjoy and participate in team socials and every member of the team receive a monthly payday treat, birthday gifts and Christmas rewards.
