Our very first team challenge of 2024 is a tough one! Starting on New Year’s Day, our Sober for 6 team have committed to being completely tea-total until Sunday 30th June 2024.
During the challenge Sarah, Sherelyn, Elise and Sharon will celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and attend parties, and all without touching a single drop of alcohol.
The Sober for 6 team are almost a month into the challenge and still going strong. Two of the team were interviewed on BBC radio Wiltshire about they’re getting on and the fantastic charity they’re supporting. You can listen to the the interview with Sue Davies here (listen from 2:39)
The team have chosen to support a small local charity – Wessex MS Therapy Centre who have provided ongoing care to family friends. The facility, which is just a mile from Gooding Accounts’ Warminster office are a centre of excellence for the provision of therapy, information, practical and emotional support for people with MS and their families.
Based in the heart of Warminster the award winning Wessex Multiple Sclerosis Centre offers physical, emotional and social therapies in a comfortable and friendly environment to aid the management of symptoms, promote independence and provide long-term individual support.
As well as treating MS symptoms, the Centre provides therapies for many other conditions; cancer, fibromyalgia, stroke, ME (CFS), sports injuries, skin complaints, autism, cerebral palsy and many more.
The centre relies heavily on fundraising to provide their services to the community, that’s why our team have chosen to support this fantastic charity as part of Gooding Accounts 10 year anniversary fundraising challenge.
