It was a packed house at Trowbridge Rugby Club on Friday 1st March as Gooding Accounts’ welcomed more than 200 guests to our first charity event of 2024. Hosted by our very own Sam Gooding there was some fierce competition from the 29 teams on a range of topics from sport and general knowledge to flavours of crisps! A big thank you to everyone who came along to support the event and special congratulations to ‘Cupid Stunts and Robyn‘ who beat ‘Star Wars Battle Front‘ by a single point to take the win!
Most importantly we raised a huge £3000 for fantastic local charity Wiltshire Mind. The funds will help support those who are experiencing mental health problems or emotional distress across the county. A special thanks to Craig from Collection House who donated his winning Bingo Ball funds to this worthy cause. We’ll be supporting the charity with a second Quiz evening in November, so look out for tickets on sale later in the year.
