A big ‘thank you’ to everyone who joined us for our second Charity Quiz Night of the year to raise funds in memory of Archie Matthews. Teams took on a diverse range of questions from music through the decades, to sport and even Quality Street chocolates! The competition was close-run, but in the end it was Fact or Fiction who emerged victorious, just 4 points ahead of second placed Dude, Where’s my Corsa. A fabulous £2500 was raised for brand new charity, The Archie Matthews Trust.

Archie Matthews sadly took his own life in August 2024, aged just 18, after an ongoing battle with his mental health. To honour his memory, and in the hope that other families don’t have to suffer such a tragedy Archie’s family have created a brand new charity, The Archie Matthews Trust. The £2500 raised on the evening will be a fantastic boost to the charity.
